Welcome to Mindfully Abundant Academy!

Here you will find courses that cultivate a mindful and an abundant -- Mindfully Abundant! -- lifestyle. Living a Mindfully Abundant life means being aware and connected to the present moment, accepting yourself, being grateful and appreciative for life's gifts, and welcoming more of what you want into your life. You will learn practical knowledge, develop powerful habits, attitudes and mindset, overcome ANTs (automatic negative thoughts) and limiting beliefs, and reconnect with your inner self. You will be given step-by-step instructions and guidance on transforming your mind from a lack mentality (feeling like you aren't good enough or you are unworthy) to an abundance mindset (knowing that you are enough!)

Hey there, I'm Kevin Qiu!

I have been practicing meditation for nearly seven years with approximately 1500 hours of practice time. I discovered mindfulness meditation during my senior year studying at the University of Toronto, where I developed a passion and love for psychology and mindfulness.

I pursued a medical degree at the Memorial University of Newfoundland and Labrador with an interest in Psychiatry and mental health. I have led morning meditations and co-led a meditation and yoga retreat for the Faculty of Medicine.

When I'm not busy studying medicine, I spend most of my time exploring mindfulness, meditation, yoga, spirituality, Buddhism, psychology, habits and mindset, productivity, and emotional intelligence through practicing, studying books, reading articles, listening podcasts, and attending workshops.

My passion for understanding the mind has led me to work with various psychotherapists over the past four years. I have attended several silent meditation retreats including Vipassana retreats and a mindfulness retreat in Kopan Monastery in Kathmandu, Nepal.
